Helping to Re-Unite Americans as One Nation, Under God, Indivisible

Under God

Sun Rays“One Nation under God Indivisible with Liberty and Justice for All”

Do you know this God that our Founders knew? The God our National Pledge declares that we trust in?

You can actually know Him. Consider what Jesus said about this:

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life”. John 3:16

“This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent”.  John 17:3

How do you get to know the Almighty God? Simply believe what Jesus said and then do what the Bible says to do.

8 But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,
9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.”
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;
13 for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.”   Romans 10:8-13

This just means to pray and ask God to receive you into His kingdom and make you His child. Ask Him to become your Father.

Prayer is simply talking with God. He’s always listening for your voice. He already knows your heart and is more concerned with your heart’s attitude than your actual words. But you must ask Him!

The Resurrection

Here is a sample prayer to pray:

Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life to You and I receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and for giving me eternal life. Guide me and strengthen me as I read Your word, Father. Make me the person that You prepared for me to be since the foundation of the world.

If this prayer expresses the desire of your heart, I encourage you to pray it right now, and Jesus will come into your heart, just as He promised.

As soon as you have the opportunity, tell someone of your good news, that God saved you and made you a new creature through Jesus Christ.

Secondly, make time each day so you can read His word – the Bible. We recommend beginning with the book of John. Yes you can understand it! If you seem to be having trouble, ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit and help you to see what He is showing you through His word. He always answers.

Finally, find a Church that believes and preaches Bible Truth and get involved with other believers.

An important reminder…

Do Not Depend on Feelings

God’s Word is our authority – not our feelings. As Christians, we live by faith in God’s promises. The very same way we became new creatures in Christ Jesus, by simply realizing His promise and believing in His faithfulness to do what He said He would do, is how we live God’s abundant life. It’s how Jesus lived. It’s how the early disciples lived. It’s how most early Americans lived. It’s how God expects us to live every day. Consider the following from the Apostle Peter:

1 Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:
2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;
3 seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
4 For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.
5 Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge,
6 and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness,
7 and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.
8 For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins.
10 Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble;
11 for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.   2 Peter 1:1-11

May God bless you richly as you walk with Him and as we together – with His help – re-establish the Spirit of Integrity throughout our land.
